We set out to build the tools we wish we had to take better care of patients.

When we entered the MD, PhD program at Vanderbilt University in 2009, we had no idea our lives would take a dramatic turn, but here we are, running an Artificial Intelligence company to improve patient care.

During our medical rotations, we quickly realized there was a huge barrier to pulling actionable insights from patient data. EMRs were clunky and required clinicians to spend hours per day gathering and interpreting data instead of focusing on patient care. This drove clinician burnout and inefficiencies in an already overly-taxed healthcare system. 

Healthcare is overflowing with data, but the key metrics to optimize clinical practices are hidden away in the free text of charts. We need to understand this mountain of information in a timely way to improve healthcare.

So, we launched PredictionHealth. Our AI analytics platform for PT/OT clinics, Practice Intel,  reveals previously hidden insights, helping optimize practices and boosting revenue. Sidekick allows providers to focus less on notes and more on their patients, all while receiving helpful coding and clinical suggestions.
